Hullis, 96, of Aliquippa, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born February 16, 1922, in Chios, Greece, she was a daughter of the late George and Despina (Martakis) Cavoulas. Mrs. Hullis retired from the pharmacy of the former Aliquippa Hospital. She was an active member of Kimisis Tis Theotoukou Greek Orthodox Church in Aliquippa, the Senior Citizens Club of the church, and G.A.P.A. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Hullis, in 1996, and a sister, Sophie Athas. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, George and Shirley Hullis of Lisbon, Ohio; a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Keith Himmelman of Napa Valley, Calif.; her beloved granddaughter, Elena Athena Hullis of Delmar, Calif., and a sister, Dorothy Matthews of Baden. Friends will be received Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, www.tatalovichfuneralhome.com. Mrs. Hullis will lie in state Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. in Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, 2111 Davidson St., Aliquippa, with Father Dr. Steylios Muksuris, officiating.
